What are these cows doing?

The cows in the video are selecting feed. 60% of it is maze, they take that our first.
The grass is very long, so a good solution here can be to cut it finer.

These cows are selecting. Mine do it when there is a maize or fodder beet inclusion in the mix. The chop length of the grass is good for digestion. Maize meal and more grass silage with half a kg of straw and drop the maize silage altogether. I find a mix like this does not leed to selection . I know intakes will be back a little but the cow has a more even intake with less potential for digestive upset.
