How much need to have moister in TMR for dairy cow
I can submit for example
Grass silage 30% with 40% dray matter 12 DM
Maize silage 28% with 32% dray matter 8.96 DM
Alffaalffa hay 7% wiyh 86% dray matter 6.2 Dm
concentrate feed 35% with 86% dray matter 30.1 DM

Total in DM in TMR is 57.26 % of DM

In this example we have this dry matter 57.26 % of DM How much should be the DM of milk cows?

In the movie John is on 38% DM, some farmers go down to 30…
What country are you in? Just try to add water and see for yourself. (or melassses to stick particles together)
