Robot stal in Switzerland with green rubber floor

Have a look at this robot stall in Switzerland. They chose for a green rubber floor. Why do you think they did this? What do you think of it?

Please also note how many cows are lying down. These are good beds!

Roughly 11 standing and 20 lying down (as per rough calculation). Is grip of rubber floor good?

We are in with 20 people All cows were resting when we came in.. Floor is very nice for cows! Bit slippery for the farmer….

Slippery for the animals I have heard to. Farmer in Iceland tells me calves are lying on their back/spine because of stress. Maybe this is just the problem in Iceland?

Hmmm havent seen it in calf sheds.

Calves are lighter than cows: so less grip.... grip on rubber comes from 2-4 mm sinking in it with the claws... light animals and farmers with big feet do not sink in enough to get grip..
