SUMMARY: After research ABN AMRO claims we have the smallest foot print in CO2, energy, pesticides and antibiotics per kg agricultural product in the world. The success is claimed by on the one hand preventing waste of food and use of biomass and on the other hand legislation. The use on antibiotics decreased with 64% between 2009 and 2016, partly by policy. In 2015 use of pesticides was less than half of that in the 80s.
